Detection of Red-Light Violation
Šorf, Milan ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Špaňhel, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is focused on automatic detection of red-light violation using static camera. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the principle of detection and introduces various methods of detecting traffic lights and cars as well as their reliability metrics. The thesis also illustrates implementation of the application for evaluation of these methods.
Moving Object Detection in Video
Buchtela, Radim ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to detection of moving object in video sequence. In this thesis are described in detail detection methods based on principle of Background subtraction. There are indtroduced strategies of background modeling and background model updating. This thesis deal also with problems of tracking objects in video, there is introduced one of possible approaches. Part of this thesis is application for function demonstration of detection methods and tracking method. On results are showed main advantages and disadvantages of implemented methods.
Object Tracking in a Sequence of Images
Švancar, Boris ; Doležel, Michal (referee) ; Orság, Filip (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with motion detection and object tracking in video sequence from static and dynamic cameras. The background subtraction method along with using of background updating and Lucas-Kanade optical flow method are introduced in my thesis as well. Both methods are implemented in the test application in the language C++ using OpenCV and Qt libraries and consequently both of them are tested. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the bachelor thesis.
Motion Detection in Video
Polanský, Petr ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The objective of this work is evaluate motion detection using Gaussian Mixture Model. When algorithm detects motion, it creates short video capturing this motion and visualizing it properly. Visualization is made by white pixels intensity graph. System is applicable on less busy area when motion is more noticeable. Results of this work shows how surrounding environment and camera position influence detection.
Detection of the Cars Approaching the Crossroad
Vácha, Lukáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Traffic monitoring using computer vision is becoming the desired system in practice. It allows nondestructive installation and also is very useful in many applications. This thesis focuses on automatic detection of vehicles approaching to a crossroads. This work also includes description of selected methods for detecting moving vehicles and the way of tracking them. On the basis of these methods is designed application that is implemented and tested in different lighting and weather conditions and various direction of approaching vehicles.
Hand Gesture Recognition
Adámek, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis is focused on human hand gesture recognition. The main part of the work deals with image segmentation of videosequences for further gesture recognition. For the image segmentation, techniques such as face detection followed by skin detection in combination with background subtraction method are used. In order to eliminate noise, methods of mathematic morphology are applied. The work focuses only on dynamic hand gesture recognition. The proposed gesture recognition system is inspirited by hidden Markov model method. The last chapter of the thesis discusses the accuracy of the gesture recognition.
Visual object tracking
Prítel, Pavol ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with detection of moving objects in image sequence. The target of this thesis is a design of object detection algorithm and its application in vehicle counting. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part of this thesis includes theoretical analysis of given problem. The second part is related to the design and implementation of the algorithm. The third part deals with evaluation of results of the implemented algorithm.
Optical Localization System with a Pan/Tilt Camera
Senčuch, Daniel ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The effective surveillance of large critical areas is crucial for their security and privacy. There is no publicly available and acceptable solution of automating this task. This thesis aims to create an application utilizing a combination of a pan-tilt robotic manipulator and a visible-spectrum camera. Based on the pan-tilt unit's position and camera's images, the application searches for semantically significant changes in the captured environment and marks these regions of interest.
Motion Detection in Video Sequences
Chadim, Petr ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deal with a problem of motion detection in video sequence. The basic principle of method Bacground subtraction and the algorithm for searching differences between frames were described in details. Great attention is made for actualization of referential frame. Part of this thesis is a localization of motion object. The result of this thesis is an application for testing of motion detector in different environments.
Moving Object Detection in Video Using CUDA
Horák, František ; Nečas, Ondřej (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of moving object detection in video; by selecting and applying proper algorithms and implementing them with CUDA. Technology CUDA is described and wieved it's architecture and other parts. General principles of moving object detection are observed and modification are discussed. Final system is implemented and tested.
